Budtender / Cannabis Product Specialist

Availability Requirements

• Must be flexible to work days and evenings (store closes at 11:30 PM)
• Must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the store and verify legal age using valid ID
• Provide knowledgeable guidance on cannabis products and accessories
• Educate customers to help them choose products aligned with their desired effects
• Process transactions accurately and handle cash responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness of the store interior and exterior
• Support coworkers and contribute to a positive team environment
• Assist with inventory management, restocking, and audits
• Participate in opening and closing procedures as required
• Ensure accuracy in all orders and transactions

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years of age and legally able to work in Canada
• Selling It Right certification required
• Strong knowledge of non-medical cannabis products and regulations
• Experience working with POS systems
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of retail customer service experience
• Experience handling cash and POS systems
• Experience with cannabis products is considered an asset

Skills

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
• Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
